analysis: Iresearcher

In the essay "The Town Hangout" she talked about how and where she spent her time as a child and with whom. She started off her paper talking about her childhood and how close she was with her aunt and ended it with her adulthood. Once her grandmother died, she moved to a new town and decided to have a family night at the bowling alley. She added much detail to her paper about her surroundings and what she saw and experienced as well as having many important questions about the changes the bowling alley might have went through over the years. Her paper contains a lot of imagery by mentioning the odor of the pizza and the sight of the lights and smoke in the air. Although her essay was supported with much detail of that bowling alley, she switched between talking in the past tense and the present tense a lot and she could have made it flow better. But it was a paper I enjoyed reading.
